    A Dry ice block weighs 50 lbs with dimensions of 10″x10″x12″. These blocks can be cut to obtain different sizes and weights, the most commonly used are slices of 10″x10″x2″ (10 lbs) or 10″x5″x2″ (5lbs). Dry ice blocks last longer than any other form of dry ice due to the fact that they are made with higher compression rates, and have less area of temperature transferring than pellets.
