How to Pack a Shipment With Gel Packs
Three steps for a clean 2–8 °C shipment. Pharma or lab samples? Follow your validated packout first.

Freeze them solid
Freeze the packs flat until completely solid. A half-frozen pack loses its cold hours early.

Surround the product
Place packs above and around the product in an insulated cooler. Fill empty space so cold air stays put.

Close it and ship
Close the cooler right away. Route over 48 hours, or need a frozen zone? Add dry ice.
Handle Dry Ice Safely
Dry ice is solid CO₂ at −78.5 °C. Always handle it with insulated gloves, never bare hands. Never consume it.
Never seal it airtight. The gas needs to vent. Keep it away from children and pets. Use only in well-ventilated spaces.
