Never Bare Hands

Handle it with gloves or tongs. Direct skin contact causes frostbite within seconds — keep it out of kids' reach until it's in the water.

Fog effects belong outdoors or in a large, open room — not a small, closed space where CO₂ can build up.

Never Airtight

Don't seal it in a jar, cooler lid, or sealed container — sublimation builds pressure that can rupture it. Use an open bucket, cauldron or bowl.

How much dry ice do I need for a Halloween party?
It depends on how much fog you want and for how long — roughly 5 to 10 lbs produces a steady low-lying fog for about 24 hours of intermittent use. Tell us your setup (yard, porch, indoor room) and party length and we’ll help you size the order.
Is dry ice fog safe around kids, pets and food?
Our dry ice is food-grade, so it’s safe to drop into punch bowls and drinks. For fog effects, keep it out of direct reach of small children and pets, handle it only with gloves or tongs, and run it in a ventilated outdoor space or a large, open room — not a sealed one.
How do I get the bubbling cauldron effect?
Drop small pieces of dry ice into warm water in a cauldron, bowl or punch bowl. The warmer the water, the faster and more dramatic the bubbling fog. Never use dry ice in a completely sealed container — it needs somewhere for the gas to escape.
When should I order for Halloween?
As early as you can. Late October is our highest-demand week of the year, so orders and pickup slots fill up fast. We recommend booking at least a few days ahead to guarantee your date.
Can I pick it up the day of the party?
Yes, pickup is available at our Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando/Tampa and Fort Myers locations during business hours, alongside delivery for larger orders.
What do I do with leftover dry ice after the party?
Let it fully sublimate in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from kids, pets and enclosed spaces. Never dispose of it in a sealed trash bag, drain or indoor bin.
